Development Roadmap
FCS is currently under active development with a focus on adding new features and continuously improving quality. As part of this effort, we are sharing a portion of our development roadmap below.
This roadmap is provided as reference information on current development plans and does not guarantee the implementation of specific features in future software updates.
The order of items listed does not necessarily indicate implementation priority, and items may be changed or discontinued without prior notice due to development circumstances or other factors.
(Accordingly, items that have been changed or discontinued from past plans are also listed.)

Key Items Planned for Future Implementation
CLI (Command Line Interface) improvements
We plan to provide an unattended mode that allows video processing to be executed without using the GUI.
Command line operation will be supported, enabling automation and efficiency in workflows such as batch processing integration.-> This has been implemented in version 26.04.01.
Post-processing features
Multiple post-processing functions are currently under development to automatically exaggerate and adjust performance expressions more effectively.
Ongoing Feature Enhancements and Improvements
Landmark detection improvements
The facial expression detection engine developed in-house by FCS will continue to be addressed as a top-priority improvement.
In particular, we will continue to improve detection accuracy so that more subtle facial expression changes can be captured precisely in close-up footage from head-mounted cameras (HMC).
Processing speed improvements
We will optimize the overall software to reduce processing time from analysis to output.
We will continue to improve the internal architecture to provide more efficient workflows in production environments that require large-scale data processing and short turnaround times.
Items Discontinued Due to Various Circumstances
Real-time video generation: Development of a real-time animation analysis and output program
We have decided not to include this feature as a standard part of FCS.
Going forward, we will focus on optimization tailored to individual project requirements and are considering case-by-case support. Please contact us for inquiries about custom solutions.
Sample engine code development (Unity, Unreal Engine, Motion Builder)
The plan to provide sample code for the above engines intended for real-time features has been discontinued along with the real-time feature.
Automatic retargeting feature
The implementation of a feature to automatically perform rough retargeting to arbitrary rigs has also been discontinued.
Unreal Engine retargeting support
Development of the plan to provide the same features currently available in Maya within Unreal Engine has also been discontinued.
FCS aims to be a tool that contributes more deeply to your actual production environment, and we welcome feature requests from our users at any time.
